Al Lafredo honored for Fire Service
Tue. Jan 30th 2018

Once a firefighter, always a firefighter! Retired City of Olean Firefighter Al LaFredo was recognized at the Ashville Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Dinner for his 50 years of service as a firefighter, first in Olean and now as a volunteer in Ashville. I was also honored to recognize Bob Fredrickson for giving 45 years of service to the Ashville Fire Department and to Mike Cristy for being the Top Responder in 2017. Firefighters and first responders are everyday heroes who walk among us. We depend on them to protect our lives, our loved ones and our homes. They deserve all the thanks and recognition we can give them.
